Ball Handling
Control with both hands, change of pace, and handling pressure.
Small group basketball training · Ages 7–16
Focused, high-rep training in groups of 2–5 players. One hour, one or two skills, and a coach who knows the game from the bench and the whistle.
Coach Isaac Guergues
Meet your coach
I've been coaching basketball for 2 years and refereeing games for 3 years. Being on both sides of the game changes how I teach it.
As a referee I see what actually gets called: the travel on a sloppy pivot, the reach-in foul, the moving screen. My players learn to play hard and play clean, with footwork, defense, and decisions that hold up in a real game.
The program
Small enough that every player gets coached on every rep. Big enough to compete. Each session goes deep on one or two skills so they stick.
2–5 players, grouped by age and skill level
1 hour of focused, high-rep work
Once or twice a week

More than drills
Skills win possessions, but character wins teams. Every player gets encouragement, honest feedback, and a coach who's in their corner, on the court and off it.
Join a GroupControl with both hands, change of pace, and handling pressure.
Form, footwork into the shot, and range built the right way.
Pivots, jump stops, and finishing moves that don't get whistled.
Stance, slides, and staying in front without reaching or fouling.
Seeing the floor, making the right read, and delivering on time.
Spacing, cutting, and understanding the rules the way refs call them.
Getting started
Send a message with your player's age, experience, and what they want to improve.
I match players by age and skill so every group is challenging and fun.
One-hour sessions, once or twice a week, focused on one or two skills at a time.
Build real habits that show up on game day, and keep stacking new skills.
